Spending Vacation at Bluewater Panglao Beach Resort
Eat, swim and sleep. That was the highlight of the things that we did during our weekend vacation in Bluewater Panglao. Quite productive, isn’t it? But seriously, when staying in such lavish resort, one doesn’t have to do anything tremendously. There are times that we just want to relax and feel the stress free weekend, and that’s what Bluewater Resorts is specialised for.
A luxurious resort located in Bohol, Bluewater Panglao gave us the weekend treat that we were longing for. Staying on this luxurious resort has been the best reward that we had after getting ourselves into extreme adventures on our first day in Bohol.
It was already evening when we arrived at the resort. After getting our keys to our respective rooms, the first thing that we wanted to do was to lay our tired bodies into our bed. But that didn’t happen. Seeing how gorgeous our rooms were made us all get our cameras and had some clicks to capture our admirable home for the weekend.
We just couldn’t hold to share online how beautiful are rooms were to our friends and have them feel envious about it. Seeing how warm and caring our rooms were made us all feel that our vacation was going to be a kind one.
We stayed in a Premier Deluxe Poolside room. We had two rooms for our group. The room design is simple yet it gives the vibe of being elegant. Our room has two queen-size beds that are cantilevered. The room is spacious. It also has mini bar, cable TV, iPod dock, telephone, coffee / tea service and bathroom.
The bathroom is spacious as well. It has a bathtub, and separate areas for shower and toilet, which I liked the most.
Our room also has a veranda, with a view of the main pool.
Aside from the Premier Deluxe Room, the resort also has other accommodation options that can cater family, friends or couples. These are Family Pool Villa, Honeymoon Pool Villa and Family Loft. We were so lucky that Mr. Leo Go, the Rooms Division Manager, took us to a tour around the resort and showed us the different rooms.

Each room is distinct from each other. The Family Loft has a vibe of being a house while the Villa has its feel of being secluded. But among these rooms, what captivated me the most is the Villa. Aside from privacy, it has its own dipping pool! The Villa also has a view of the garden, which I feel very relaxing to see.
What I liked about the resort as well is that they have several amenities, recreation and activities to offer to its guests, may it be water sports or leisure activities. The resort has an ATV trail, bicycle and game room. They also offer activities like fishing, island boat tours, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, catamaran ride and in-house activities for adults and kids. The resort also has a resident scuba diving center, which is a certified PADI 5-Star Dive Resort.
The island of Panglao is known for its nicest beaches and spectacular underwater world. And those can also be found in Bluewater Panglao. The resort has a nearby marine sanctuary, wherein guests can do snorkelling and enjoy seeing the spectacular undersea.
Among the amenities that the resort has, what our group really enjoyed the most was the swimming pools. The resort has two pools, one is located at the main area and the other one is located close to the beach.
The pools themselves are very notable. I couldn’t say more how lavish the pools look like. The resort was really good in impressing its guests with its architecture and amenities.
The resort also has an in house spa, which they named as Amuma Spa.
Booking a full board stay in a resort makes a trip very easy and stress free, as one doesn’t have to bother where to eat, as the resort will already provide all meals during the stay. Our group was just so blessed that we had a full board meal during our stay at the resort.
The resort has two restaurants. The resort’s main restaurant is the Aplaya Restaurant, which is located nearby the beach. This restaurant offers international cuisine and authentic local fare that features exotic flavours made with fresh local products. The other restaurant is Baroto Pool Bar, which is located nearby the main pool. This restaurant is often a venue for cocktails or a relaxing gathering.
We were so fortunate that we were able to experience one of the restaurant’s prides, Barrio Fiesta. This event is a cultural and dining extravaganza that only happens every Saturday night. It is a dinner buffet with a cultural show presenting a colourful and upbeat Philippine cultural dance show. The buffet starts at 6:00 PM while the show start at 7:30 PM.
The meals that we had during our stay in the resort were all remarkable and relishing. We were able to enjoy the dishes that I was just able to taste for the first time as well as the desserts that can only be found in their resident restaurants.
Our stay in Bluewater Panglao became more pleasant because of the delicious and tasty food that the resort had provided to us.
The resort gave us a lavish getaway that compliments the natural beauty of Bohol. It provided us a relaxing stay topped up with Boholanos hospitality and kindness. Our vacation in Bluewater Panglao was again a testament that the resort is true to its reputation and brand. We were stunned how impressive Bluewater Panglao Beach Resort was. We were provided with world-class amenities yet distinctly Filipino. It also gave us a warm, friendly, attentive and relaxing experience. Indeed, it was also like home when spending a vacation at Bluewater Resorts.
