My One Bedroom Deluxe Suite at The Sebel Launceston
Staying at The Sebel Launceston was one of the best parts of my one-week holiday in Tasmania. I began my journey in Launceston and stayed here for four days. My experience was nothing but amazing. I enjoyed my vacation even more because The Sebel Launceston provided me the comfort and space that I wanted. A stylish boutique hotel, it provides service of a hotel with the convenience of an apartment. It has well-appointed accommodations complete with modern amenities. The Sebel Launceston has a brilliant location as well making it the ultimately perfect place to stay in the city.
The Sebel Launceston is a 4-star boutique hotel featuring fully self-contained and spacious suites with excellent amenities. The hotel also has the friendliest services. Its location is just about 3-minute walk from the Central Business District. With a convenient location, it is also close to the city’s major attractions, shopping centers and restaurants. The hotel is also just 15 minutes from the airport. Riding an airport shuttle, I didn’t find it hard to reach the hotel.
It was around 8:00 AM when I arrived at The Sebel Launceston. Upon arrival, I approached the front desk and presented my passport. Rebecca, the guest service agent, told me that my room wasn’t ready yet. No worries for me since it was still way too early for the standard check in time. Since I still have few more hours to wait, I decided to go out. I asked Rebecca for a good place to eat and she happily suggested some places for me. However, my good friend Majoy who was on her last day in Launceston and will be flying back to Sydney already that day sent me a message online if I was free to meet her up in a café nearby. Perfect timing! So I walked to the café – met her, ordered coffee and had a good 10 minute catch up with her.
I was on my way to a grocery store when suddenly Rebecca called me up on my phone. She said that my room was already prepared. It was such a nice gesture of her. So after buying some food and stuff at the grocery, I went straight back to the hotel. When I arrived, Rebecca handed me my keycard and told me that my luggage and backpack were in my room already. Wow! I was getting really impressed with The Sebel Launceston hospitality. So I went to my room and voilà! I got stunned how huge the suite is.
Room

I stayed in a One-bedroom Deluxe King Suite. It has an open plan kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator and toaster. Utensils, plates and some kitchen ware are also provided. There’s also a small dining table, a cozy sitting area and a private balcony. The suite also has air conditioning. It is equipped with widescreen TV, a work desk, steam iron and ironing board. I was touched when I saw that there was also a small teddy bear placed on the bed. Such a warm gesture to welcome me in their hotel. It was also nice they name it Sydney.
The bedroom also looks lovely that comes with one king bed. The bedroom can also be closed off for privacy. The bed felt comfy that I have to say I always got dozed off early here every night. The One-bedroom Deluxe Suite also has a separate toilet and a huge bathroom. The bathroom has hot and cold shower and a bath tub. Bath essentials are also provided such as towels and toiletries.
My room at The Sebel Launceston gave me the comfort and convenience I needed to have a relaxing stay. The room was well-appointed and complete with all essentials. I loved the room and staying here is definitely the best part why I enjoyed my visit in Launceston.
Facilities
The Sebel Launceston also offers an array of facilities for guests to have a more well-rounded vacation while in Launceston. The hotel has conference facilities, on-site fitness center, parking and restaurant and bar. Too bad I didn’t get the chance to dine in at the restaurant. I learned the hotel restaurant serves regional wines and delicious dishes showcasing the freshest local produce. Other amenities of the hotel also include complimentary high-speed Internet access.
For three nights, The Sebel Launceston gave me a wonderful experience. It was such a relaxed stay providing me ease and variety of comforts. Staff was very friendly. Location is brilliant. The suite was huge. Because of all these, I really enjoyed my vacation. So if you’re visiting Launceston, don’t bother to look anywhere else. Book at The Sebel Launceston for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.
