Suddenly, At Hotel Joselina and Traveller’s Inn
After our jaunt in the city of Tuguegarao, my buddy and I planned to go on a trip to Kalinga. However, it didn’t occur as planned because we failed to arrive on time at Tabuk City and catch the jeepney that goes to Tinglayan in Kalinga. I guess it wasn’t meant to happen. We then just went back to the city, feeling unfulfilled.
Because of frustration, I’ve envisioned that we needed something rewarding to ease our moods and someway forget about our futile attempt to visit Kalinga. That moment, I thought that the wheel of fate must turn. I have to ensure that our remaining days should be in favor with our plans. I’ve listed some things to do and places to go but I felt that it wasn’t enough to relieve my frustration. Then suddenly, the idea of staying in a pleasant hotel popped up in my head.
The first few days of our trip had not turn out well but when we went back to the city of Tuguegarao and found a hotel that we can stay while we were in the city, I felt that from that moment everything will certainly be good. Why wouldn’t it be good if the accommodation was as pleasing as what Hotel Joselina and Traveller’s Inn has?
Hotel Joselina and Traveller’s Inn is one of the most recognized hotels in the city. The hotel has two branches that conveniently located in the city’s prime spots. The main branch is located at downtown while the second branch is located at Caggay, which is like 10 minutes drive away from the city proper. We stayed in their second branch because aside from it is relatively new, my buddy and I liked to settle in a more relaxing location out of the city center.
It was afternoon when we were able to arrive at the hotel. It wasn’t hard to find, as it is located nearby a gasoline station. It is also just few minutes away from major van and bus terminals in the city.
The hotel offers high quality hotel accommodation at very practical rates. For as low as PHP 899 per night, you can already get a room good for two. It’s a deal already! The rooms on this hotel are well appointed rooms that are stylishly designed and thoughtfully filled with modern amenities.
Currently, the hotel has three types of room such as Twin Bed Deluxe, Matrimonial Deluxe, and Matrimonial Deluxe with Bath Tub. All rooms are fully air-conditioned and equipped with brand new furniture. All rooms have hot and cold shower and individual smoking area.
Checking in was a breeze. My buddy and I stayed in a Twin Bed Deluxe Room. The room has two singled beds and is furnished with flat screen cable TV, direct dial phones and a dresser. Although I’m not a smoker to use the smoking area, the area had become helpful on my stay because I was able to air-dry my clothes there. ☺
The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi. It also has 24-hour front desk service.
Currently, the hotel doesn’t have an in house restaurant but there’s a nearby café named Barako Boy, which is partnered with the hotel to also cater its guests. We’ve had our dinner in the café one time and I had ordered a rice meal. The menu is pretty affordable with selection from pasta, rice meals, sandwiches, coffee and other beverages. Coffee lovers will surely love the place as they offer different types of coffee as well as coffees that come from different provinces. Another restaurant that is also located within the compound is Felicita’s. The restaurant offers authentic Pancit Cabagan. It must have been good but unluckily I wasn’t able to try it because I wasn’t able to catch the restaurant open. There’s also a convenience store that is located at the ground floor of the hotel.
Our stay in Hotel Joselina and Traveller’s Inn had certainly discharged our frustration. Just seeing how pleasant our room was and how lovely the ambiance was had our worries gone. Our instant vacation at the hotel had indeed become a wonderful substitute to our unsuccessful trip to Kalinga. I couldn’t think of anything more that could ease our resentment but a stay giving us leisure, comfort and convenience. That is a stay at Hotel Joselina and Traveller’s Inn!
