Smart and Comfy, A Weekend Stay at Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Siam

My third time in Bangkok was nothing but a fun and spectacular trip with my friends. Because of a holiday in the Philippines, we were able to go out of the country and visit Bangkok. We spent a weekend discovering the beautiful city and its busy streets, gleaming temples and notable landmarks. We also enjoyed our time in Bangkok because of the wonderful experience that we had while staying in Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Siam. It was our home for three days providing us all the conveniences we needed. It has a great location, clean and comfortable rooms and magnificent facilities. With these features, it allowed us to easily explore the city and have a pleasant vacation at the same time.

It was early morning when my friends and I arrived at the hotel. It’s near the National Stadium Train Station, so coming from the airport to get the hotel was very easy. Standard check in time is at 2:00pm. But since the rooms were available already, we were allowed to check in. We couldn’t be more thankful for the hotel in letting us had our rooms when we arrived since we haven’t had a decent sleep yet. We wanted to take a rest first before getting around the city. The soft pillows and comfy bed in our rooms definitely gave us that much-needed rest.

Room

Provided us with an enjoyable and comfortable stay experience, Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Siam is definitely a smart choice when in Bangkok. It features 300 rooms designed with modern amenities offering guests outstanding level of comfort. The rooms feature high quality bed with a choice of soft or firm pillow. It also comes with excellent facilities such as flat screen TV, in-room safe, tea and coffee maker, refrigerator and an ergonomic work desk.

There are two types of room in Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Siam. These are Standard Room and Superior Room. We stayed in a Standard Room. My friends’ room has two single beds while my room has a queen bed. My room looked fresh and spacious. I instantly got impressed how tidy and clean it was. It also has everything I needed while we spent our vacation in Bangkok. It has comfortable bed, great amenities and an en-suite bathroom, which I also found spacious and clean. The bathroom also features a multi-functional power shower. It also has the necessary bathroom amenities. If you need more toiletries, you may ask the reception and have it picked up at the front desk.

Another thing to love about Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Siam is it offers a panoramic view of the city. The side of my room has a spectacular view of the National Stadium.

Facilities

In addition to the smart and comfy rooms, Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Siam also has range of useful services that guests can utilize. The hotel has a meeting room for guest’s business services need. There’s also an on-site self laundry facility and complimentary fitness center. Guests can also connect for free to high-speed Internet. Aside from these facilities, the hotels also has a roof top garden. A nice place if you want to relax or have an amazing view of the city.

Guests staying at Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Siam can also enjoy a complimentary breakfast. Start your day with a whole buffet full of offerings on the 7th floor of the hotel. Breakfast selection includes pastries, fruits, international and local dishes and beverages. My friends and I enjoyed the breakfast most especially the Noodle Fish Ball and Fried Rice. Bacon and omelet are also available by request.

Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Siam also offers Grab and Go option to have your breakfast to go. We haven’t tried this one but I found this very convenient most especially for travelers who are in a hurry or had no time to dine in.

It was a weekend stay to remember. Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Siam gave us a modern hotel experience with its smart comfy room and great facilities. We were also warmly welcomed at the hotel. The staff were all friendly and accommodating that made our vacation here more remarkable. We enjoyed our stay for three days and was really impressed how Holiday Inn Express treated us with exceptional comfort and conveniences.

If you’re into shopping, it takes only 2 stops by BTS from the hotel to go to Platinum Fashion Mall where you can find thousands of affordable fashion, souvenir, and beauty item retail shops. The hotel is also easily accessible to major concert venues such as IMPACT and Rajamangala National Stadium where famous international artists like Jason Mraz, Westlife, the Chainsmokers, Snow Patrol, Shawn Mendes, or Backstreet Boys had their concerts.
