Solo Flight in Coron
It was Saturday afternoon when I flew from Manila to Busuanga alone. I’d never thought I’d be back on this place too soon after my first visit 7 months ago. Though I’m alone this time of my travel I knew it’s going to be a fantastic experience, and indeed it was. Definitely, Coron captured me once again with its enchanting view from the surface down to its underwater world. In fact, I consider this place as one of the places that I will never get tired of going back over and over again.
The weather wasn’t that fine that day, the rain was on and off but not that worse compared to the previous days. The plane departed from Manila at around 3:00 PM and I was glad enough that our flight wasn’t been cancelled or else I might end up weeping. You know, I’ve been waiting for this travel. Aside from it’s Coron; I’ve got that chance again to travel alone.
Whenever I travel, I often ask for a window seat (who didn’t, anyway?). During air travel, I have this fondness of looking on those island from above and guessing what island are those. Aside from that, I do like seeing the sea, the clouds and the sky as well. Oh, I love seeing the sun, too. I suddenly remember the beautiful aerial view I have spotted somewhere in Phuket, Thailand during one of my flights to Singapore.
The plane arrived at Busuanga Airport at 4:00 PM. I went out of the terminal and there I saw my pick up courtesy of my hotel, Coron Eco Lodge.
Everything seems to go back to my senses as we traversed the road to Coron town. I suddenly missed my travel buddies when we visited this place the last time. Even so, my memories on this place were added with even more amazing experience and captivating discoveries during this solo flight adventure. You may take a look on the video I made which summarizes my weekend escape in Coron. I will post more about it on the coming days! 😀
Back to Manila
As what the saying goes, every good thing comes to an end and so this travel, too. On the last day of my trip, I checked out from the hotel before noontime and hopped into the van which the hotel took care of. Hotel transfers from and to Busuanga Airport costs PHP 150.00 per person per way. You may ask your hotel for them to assist you with that.
The plane had departed from Busuanga Airport bound to Manila at around 1:30 PM. It was a shaky ride as clouds were all over. Definitely, the most cloudy flight I’ve been to.
I got dozed off for a few minutes then the pilot suddenly announced that we’re about to land in a few minutes. Subsequently I set my camera to capture some aerial view.
Certainly, a great landscape to welcome me back at my home city.
Wow, those are amazeballs aerial shots! Gujab 🙂
