Relaxed Dining at Hotel Centro Puerto Princesa
It was Saturday when our group went to the hotel. Its in house restaurant offers different dining theme each day. It was Saturday and the theme was Barbeque Buffet. The buffet was supposed to be held at the pool area but it rained that time and so we just had it indoor.
The buffet, which costs PHP 488 per person, was a vast of grilled treats from chicken, pork, vegetables, tuna and so on. Choose whatever you want from the buffet spread and they’ll grill it for you. The buffet also features other delightful cravings that consist of salad, bread, pastries and desserts.
To make our dining experience more sumptuous, we also sampled some a la carte meals. The hotel served us Crispy Pork Belly Bagnet (PHP 330), Beef Caldereta (PHP 200), Stuffed Tilapia (PHP 440) and Spicy Seafood Gata (PHP 330). Everything was good and appetizing. Well when it comes to choice of food, you will never go wrong with Filipino cuisine. But what I was able to like most was the Spicy Seafood Gata. Well, I love spicy food. It didn’t make it hard for me to love this dish. It was delicious! It had instantly become my favorite.
It was a great time dining in at Hotel Centro. We were satisfied with the food. We got full with all the meals, desserts and beverages that we had. But our dining experience had become even more enjoyable and relaxed because of the band performance. We weren’t only treated with great food but with beautiful music as well. An acoustic band performed during the dinner. It was good music! It was just chillax. It was relaxed dining by having a good meal over great entertainment.
