Overnight Stay at H Sovereign Bali

It was a great rejoice to finally reach H Sovereign Bali after we were caught in traffic for hours after visiting Tanah Lot. It was our hotel for our last night in Bali. We were so tired and hungry after the all-day tour but the magnificence and comfort of H Sovereign Bali had become an instant refuge. It provided us the instant feeling of ease and relief.

We were flying out early morning the next day so we opted to stay here because it is situated close to the airport. However after the traffic, we only got few hours left to enjoy the accommodation. But since the hotel is just nearby the airport, it made us somehow relieved because there was no need for us to go early. You know I’m too lazy getting out of bed; so taking a flight after a night sleep is really a struggle for me. But because H Sovereign Bali is only about 10 minutes’ drive to the airport, it was truly a convenience for us.

Checking in at the hotel was fast and easy. After presenting our passports we were able to get our respective key cards. They might have noticed our weariness.

Room

We got two rooms for the group, which are located at the second floor. Our tour arranger in Bali, Mark, occupied the one room while Darwin and I shared the other one. Our room was a Deluxe Bedroom, room rate here.

The room is well appointed. I instantly felt the variety of comforts upon entering. It was complete with all essential. It was air-conditioned. It has twin beds. It has a clean and spacious bathroom that features a glass enclosed shower recess and smart vanity. The room is also equipped with several facilities such as LED TV, mini bar, wardrobe, telephone, safety deposit box and coffee & tea maker. The room also has a work desk that was useful because I always bring laptop whenever I’m on a long travel.

The room was pretty spacious. I also find it clean and warm. It is styled with modern interior and furniture to meet the needs not only of leisure travelers but of business travelers as well.

Dining

After surveying our room, we went down to have our late dinner. But we didn’t go out of the hotel anymore since the hotel has its own dining places. Besides, we were already too tired to go out and find a good place to eat.

The hotel has several dining venues that guests can choose from. They have a bakery, a lounge bar, a sky bar, an executive lounge and a restaurant. We had our dinner at their restaurant, Kitchen Meliwis. The restaurant is located near the lobby area. It is open all day serving delectable international cuisines and authentic Indonesian dishes. They also serve snacks, comfort food and refreshments.

Since it was our last night, we thought of splurging a bit. We were so hungry and we deserved a feast!

Kitchen Meliwis serves themed night buffet. It sounded so tempting but unfortunately we missed it because we arrived at the hotel late. So, we just ordered a la carte. Each of us ordered a rice meal. The one I had is chicken with cashew nuts, which was tasty and delicious. We also ordered spring rolls, pizza and a local dessert. Everything tasted good. Our meals were perfect for our send off. Each was satisfying, I must say. And to cap off our night, each of us ordered a cocktail.

At this restaurant is where the complimentary breakfast buffet for guests is also being served. Since we got an early flight on the day we checked out, we didn’t able to sample it. But the hotel packed us some breakfast that we brought.

Facilities

The hotel also provides an array of wonderful facilities to give guests an even more pleasing stay. Aside from the dining venues, this property also has spa and wellness facilities. They have area for Jacuzzi, Spa, Yoga and Sauna. They also have a rooftop pool that I regret not seeing because it was already evening when we arrived.

Aside from these, H Sovereign Bali has a 24-hour front desk that provides laundry, ironing and dry cleaning service. The hotel also has its concierge. Meeting rooms for business and special occasions are also available. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also available throughout the property.

H Sovereign Bali is an excellent place to stay in Bali. It isn’t only ideal because it’s near the airport but also it is a great base to explore the island. Although an overnight stay felt so short, we still had a delightful experience. The magnificent accommodations, convenient location, enjoyable dining offerings and impeccable services made this a perfect hotel that completed our Bali getaway.
