Namba Guesthouse HIVE, Amazing Hostel Stay in Osaka
I began my Japan trip by going to Osaka. A vibrant and bustling city located in the Kansai region of Japan, the city is known for its rich history, delicious cuisine, and lively atmosphere. The city also offers a unique blend of traditional and modern attractions. With a number of places that I would like to visit in Osaka, I wanted my accommodation to be in the heart of everything. I searched the net and luckily was able to find out about Namba Guesthouse HIVE.
A fantastic accommodation that is directly connected to metro Ebisucho Station, Namba Guesthouse HIVE offers easy access to all the major attractions, shopping areas, and delicious local restaurants in Osaka. Its location is very strategic that made my travel experience in the city so much convenient and easy. This amazing hostel also offers affordable accommodation, ideal choice for a budget traveler like me.
The reception area of the Namba Guesthouse HIVE is located on the third floor of the building. Upon entering the hostel, I was immediately greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff. Check-in time was at 4:00pm. I arrived too early. But the staff happily let me leave my luggage at their storage area while I explored the city. When I came back in the evening, the staff asked for my passport then provided me with all the necessary information about the facilities and some in-house rules.
Room
Namba Guesthouse HIVE offers both semi-private rooms and dormitory-style accommodation, catering to different preferences and budgets. I stayed in a mixed dorm room. The dormitory room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, which provided me a good night’s sleep after a long day of sightseeing. Shared toilet, shower rooms, and powder area are also found inside the dormitory room. The shower and toilets are generally clean. Lockers are also available inside the room. No need for padlock because a key is already provided.
Facilities
One of the highlights of my stay at Namba Guesthouse HIVE was the communal space. It was a great place to relax, socialize, and meet fellow travelers. It had a welcoming atmosphere, with comfortable seating, board games, and a television for entertainment. Additionally, the kitchen was well-equipped, which allows guests to prepare their own meals.
The guesthouse also provides a variety of other amenities. Free Wi-Fi was available throughout the property, which helped me to stay connected and able for me to plan my daily adventures. Another thing that I would like to commend about this property was the staff members. They were always available to assist and genuinely made me feel at home throughout my stay.

It’s a great choice for budget-conscious travelers like me who want to experience the best of Osaka while enjoying a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
