Experience Modern Comforts at ClinkNOORD Hostel
Embarking on my solo journey through Europe, Amsterdam served as the thrilling starting point. With its scenic canals and historic charm, the city captivates tourists with its unique blend of cultural richness and laid-back atmosphere. The city also boasts a variety of other tourist attractions that are sure to delight visitors. With a list of must-visit places in mind, the next puzzle piece was finding the perfect place to stay. A quick online search led me to the discovery of ClinkNOORD, a promising abode for my European adventure.
ClinkNOORD’s strategic location is one of its key assets. Housed within a charming 1920s Art Deco building and strategically positioned in the heart of Amsterdam Noord, it offers not only convenient access to the city’s main tourist attractions but also provides a gateway to the quieter side of Amsterdam. A swift free 5-minute ferry ride from Centraal Station and a mere short walk from the ferry station, the hostel seamlessly connects its guests to both the vibrant and serene side of this captivating city.
Arriving from the airport, I reached ClinkNOORD around 4:00pm. The hostel provides a self-service check-in system, which I found highly efficient. Convenient kiosks are available in the reception area, and there’s also a helpful staff member on hand to assist guests during the check-in process. Being a first-timer, I sought assistance from the staff member. With his guidance, I successfully navigated the check-in process and received a link to access my digital door keys. To utilize these keys, the Goki app had to be downloaded, adding a modern touch to the accommodation experience.
Room

I stayed in one of its private rooms, a Private Double En-Suite Room. The room offers a cozy and intimate space, which I really like. It was my first few days in Europe and I would like to have a bit more privacy during my stay. The Private Double Room has a comfortable double bed, a chair, an electric fan, and an open cabinet. It also has its own private toilet and bathroom.
Equipped with practical amenities and minimalistic design, the private double en-suite room provided me a comfortable and relaxing environment while I was in Amsterdam. I managed to get the much-needed sleep and had a refreshing rest before setting out to explore the city.
