‘Suite’ Weekend at Holiday Inn Manila Galleria
Room
We stayed in a suite type room located on the 12th floor. Our 2-bedroom Suite offers a very generous space. Check room rates here. The room features a separate receiving area, dining area and bedrooms.
The room has two bedrooms. It also has two bathrooms; one is located inside the master’s bedroom while the other one is shared by the other room and the living area. One of the bathrooms also has a bath tub. I love how the suite is well equipped with premium amenities. Each bedroom has king-sized bed, mini sofa, working desk, closet and flat screen TV.
The suite matches the entire vibe of the hotel, which is classic. It has its timeless charm that made me feel home. It was chic, clean and tasteful. I liked the cosiness and the ambiance.
After surveying each corner of our suite, I was still amazed of how huge our accommodation was. It was really big that we could actually play hide and seek. The room was ideal for our weekend staycation. Also perfect for our group’s extended anniversary celebration. So if you’re looking for a big room for staycation with friends or family, then this suite type room is for you. After having our dinner in Megamall, we initially thought of going to a nearby drinking place but then, we threw out that plan. Instead, we just spent the rest of our night in our suite drinking the booze that we bought in a nearby convenience store.
We actually ended the drinking session early, very unusual compared to our past staycations. While some called it a night already, some of us didn’t get to bed yet. We continued the night by endless chitchats and laughter. It felt like my friends didn’t have a plan to sleep. We even went out of the hotel to have midnight snack. The dawn was already breaking. Then, I thought I’ll just go to sleep after having our breakfast. Good thing the hotel allowed us to check out late.
Facilities
Depending on the booking or room type, guests can enjoy complimentary buffet breakfast at Fab Restaurant. This in-house restaurant serves an all-day buffets and a la carte dining options. The buffet spread is wide consisting of local breakfast favourites and some other cuisines. There are all-time favourite breakfast, noodles, salad, pastries, breads, cereals, soup and some beverages. But what I liked the most was the kid section offering delicious pasta and mini-burgers.
I was glad to experience the buffet breakfast since I wasn’t able to try it the last time that I stayed here. However, I felt sorry for myself that I didn’t able to experience the other facilities of the hotel. They have fully-equipped fitness centre, spa and sauna facility and pool. Well I guess the next time that I’ll be in Holiday Inn, I need to stay for at least two nights.
Aside from these facilities, the hotel also has business centre and concierge. The complimentary Wi-Fi connection is pretty impressive because it was fast and reliable. They also have a bar, Bar One, with drinks and live entertainment. Room service is also available 24 hours. With this huge array of facilities and services, guests can really have a pleasant and enjoyable hotel experience.
It was again a fun and memorable staycation with the group. The huge suite room had become our playground for the weekend. It was fun catching up with them and planning about our future travels. It was an ideal place in the metro for us to get together and celebrate. Cheers to a ‘suite’ weekend!
