At Home at Hotel Barahi Pokhara
Hotel Barahi Pokhara was the ideal place to spend our vacation. We thought it would be a lovely experience to stay in a great accommodation since we let go of our plan to do trekking anymore. We actually wanted to go for this activity but we only had 4 days in Pokhara. With only short amount of time, it would be impossible to squeeze that in to our itinerary. So to enjoy more our time in Pokhara, we made sure that we will have pleasant place to stay instead. Good thing, we have Hotel Barahi Pokhara as our home.
Hotel Barahi Pokhara is an amazing property set in the heart of the city. This is the best thing about the resort because it is near Fewa Lake. It offers easy access to tourist attractions, several restaurants and shopping area. This resort also feels like a home away from home featuring incomparable amenities and comfortable accommodation. Hotel Barahi Pokhara also boasts some magnificent views of the great Himalayas. Unfortunately, we didn’t able to witness that during our stay. It was always raining in the morning and in the afternoon, the clouds were blocking the view. Needless to stay, Hotel Barahi Pokhara is still a wonderful place that has nice surrounding and all.
It was around 3:00pm when we arrived at Hotel Barahi Pokhara. Staff warmly greeted us upon our arrival. They helped us with our luggage while I proceeded right away to the front desk so we could check in already. Staff offered us welcome drinks and chilled face towel. After I presented my passport and filled up the form with our details, the front desk handed me our room key. She also gave us vouchers for our daily breakfast. Then, one of the staff accompanied us to our room. Their friendliness and helpfulness made us instantly become feel at home.
Room
Hotel Barahi Pokhara features 80 beautifully appointed guest rooms. It comes in 3 types; namely, Deluxe, Suite Wing Deluxe and Suite. We stayed in a Deluxe Room. Check room rates and availability here. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
Our room is air-conditioned and comes with twin beds. It has a private bathroom with shower bathtub and essentials such as towels and toiletries. Dedicated to offer contemporary comfort, the room is also equipped with amenities such as multi-channel satellite TV, high-speed Wi-Fi connection, IDD telephone service, personal in-room safe, mini-bar and tea and coffee-making facilities. The room also has a seating area and a private balcony.
The room has a peaceful and homey ambiance. It was pleasantly designed that I actually like. It has all the amenities that we needed to have an amazing vacation experience in Pokhara.
Facilities
Another thing to make guests feel at home at Hotel Barahi Pokhara is the array of superb facilities that it offers. The resort has a spa, an outdoor pool, a bar, a café and a good restaurant. Every evening, there’s also a live cultural show. There’s also a rooftop access, which offers stunning mountain views. The resort also has venues for meetings and special events. A tourist desk is also available to help guests with their travel plans. Currency exchange and car rental services are also provided.
Breakfast at Pokhara Flavor
Pokhara Flavor is the all-day dining restaurant of Hotel Barahi Pokhara. The restaurant serves à la carte food and beverage menu for lunch, dinner and snacks. The menu consists some signature dishes from Asian woks, continental grills, and Italian pasta to European bread. This is also where the buffet breakfast is being served. The breakfast spread is brilliant with both Western and Eastern food options. There’s a lot of good choices for veg and non-veg. Some of the breakfast favorites to enjoy are cereals, curd, porridge, egg, hash brown, grilled tomato, pancake, salad, pastries, kabab, and fried rice. Coffee and fruit juices are also available.
Hotel Barahi Pokhara let us experience the comfort and relaxation that we needed to have an enjoyable vacation. We had a delightful experience staying for 4 days at the resort. We love our spacious cozy room and the outstanding amenities. The great hospitality and all the great things about the resort make this place definitely a home for tourists visiting Pokhara.
