ADGE Apartment Hotel, a Different Stay Experience in Sydney
Having a time to relax during a vacation is always the best part of it. After experiencing Vivid Sydney and a quick trip to Melbourne, I thought of ending my holiday in Australia with a nice staycation. I just wanted to relax and take my last day easy with no jam-packed itinerary or any other outdoor activity. Staying at ADGE Apartment Hotel proved me that I was in the right place to relax. It let me experience the world class service that the hotel is known for giving me a memorable stay on my last day in Sydney.
ADGE Apartment Hotel is a boutique hotel apartment in Surry Hills. One of Sydney’s cool neighborhoods, I find this suburb lovely and quiet filled with many surprises. It has a unique environment and home to great restaurants and hidden laneways with art houses and hole-in-the-wall cafes. Aside from the excellent location, what to love about ADGE Apartment Hotel is its friendly service and contemporary apartment suites. The hotel has modern and colorful apartments equipped with unrivaled amenities.
Familiar with Surry Hills already, I didn’t have a hard time reaching ADGE Apartment Hotel from Museum Station. After a 10-minute walk, I arrived at the hotel and was warmly welcomed by the front desk staff. She asked my reservation so I presented my passport. Then, she gave me a form that I filled up with my details. When everything was completed, she accompanied me to my room on the third level. She showed me some of the amenities and room privileges that I can enjoy during the stay.
Room
ADGE Apartment Hotel has two types of accommodation. Guests can choose from Penthouse Loft to Two Bedroom Suite Apartment. Each type is well-appointed and has modern amenities giving guests the luxurious comforts and conveniences. You may check room rates and availability here.
Staying at Two Bedroom Cityscape Apartment
The first thing that surprised me when I came in is how huge the room was. The Two Bedroom Apartment is good for 4 persons but it seems that it can fit more than that. It has two bedrooms, two bathroom suites, a fully-equipped kitchen with Miele and Smeg appliances and a living area. The room also has a large L-shape balcony. I stayed at the master’s bedroom.
The apartment also features other modern comforts. One of these is the complimentary use of smartphone. While checked in, this can be used for local calls and data connection. This is very helpful most especially when exploring around Sydney and you need to go online. The room is also equipped with a Smart TV, in-room safe, and iPod docking station. For an ultimate convenience, there are also washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. Each of the private bathrooms are also provided with luxury toiletries.
Another thing that made me feel delighted during my stay was the welcome treat service. When my friends came, the hotel staff gave us a platter of olives, cheese and chocolates. Good thing I had a bottle of wine that time, a perfect match for the platter.
Seeing all these outstanding amenities, I couldn’t help but be amazed on how perfect this upscale apartment is. It has a comfortable ambiance that made me like this hotel even more. The room also looks clean and colorful with vibrant decorations and compelling designs. With the variety of comforts and luxuries, I could say this is the perfect place for that staycation experience. I had a great stay and really enjoyed my time here with my friends.
Facilities
ADGE Apartment Hotel also offers a number of facilities giving guests a more enjoyable and convenient vacation. For dining option, there is Baccomatto Osteria serving Italian food and wine. Guests can also have daily breakfast here for only AU $20 per person. Located in the lobby, guests can also dine in at Raita Noda. It is Sydney’s smallest restaurant that only has 8 seating capacity. This dining place serves traditional Japanese food.
Other facilities and services that the hotel provides are complimentary Wi-Fi Internet, 24-hour front desk and room service, daily housekeeping, grocery deliveries, on-site parking and tour desk.
ADGE Apartment Hotel is a true standout. It has a nice location, comfort and conveniences that make this hotel a top choice in Sydney. I like the spacious cozy apartment and its lavish amenities. I also love how absolutely helpful and kind the staff of this hotel were. Generally, I enjoyed everything about this apartment hotel. It made my last day in the city a truly relaxing vacation. With huge apartment suite, facilities to match, and wonderful service, I had indeed a remarkably different stay experience in Sydney.
