A Luxurious Comfort at The Landmark Macau

The Landmark Macau is one of the best hotel choices in Macau when you’re searching for a place to stay that is easily accessible to anywhere in the city. With a perfect location, the hotel wouldn’t be called as The Landmark if it wasn’t a great landmark in the country after all.

The Landmark Macau is strategically located in the middle of Macau’s growing business and entertainment district. Getting to the hotel is easy wherever you are in the country. It is a 10-minute walk from Macau-Hong Kong Ferry Terminal, 15-minute drive from Macau International Airport and few blocks away from popular tourist spots in the country. With all of these conveniences, the hotel makes it really a great base to explore and spend vacation in Macau. Everything was accessible. Certainly, it is a comfort and convenience that everyone needs while on travel.

I was so fortunate that I had the chance to stay at this hotel when I went to Macau the second time. It was a busy period in the country because of Grand Prix and most of the hotels in the city center were already fully booked. But along with my friend, we were still lucky to get a room to stay at the last minute.

Staying for two days at The Landmark Macau didn’t just provide us conveniences in terms of proximity. Staying on this hotel also provided us a luxurious comfort that I’ve been actually waiting for to have. I’ve had got into so much hassles already prior to arriving in Macau because of missing my flight from Manila but because of The Landmark Macau’s welcoming and relaxing vibe, all the troublesome that I had experienced in the past hours had suddenly gone. From the time that I arrived in the hotel, I’ve already felt that great hotel ambiance telling me that I will have a great holiday experience. Indeed, I had.

Rooms

Theresa, a fellow Filipino who is working at the hotel pleasantly welcomed me. She was very accommodating and friendly, genuine hospitality that you can indeed expect from a Filipino. My friend Mark checked in already a day ahead of me but since he wasn’t in the hotel when I arrived, I asked for an assistance to get a key to our room. Theresa assisted me and gave me a room key. She then accompanied me to get to my room, which I’ve felt very sweet of her. She even offered me a tea that she asked from the staff to bring in my room.

Our room was a Superior Room located in a higher floor. It was spacious! I mean really spacious. The bathroom was also spacious. It was actually bigger than I expected. I was truly in amazement seeing how enormous our space was. It was also equipped with luxurious amenities. Indeed, another great welcome from the hotel to tell me that I will have my best stay in Macau.

Our room has two single beds. It was air-conditioned. The room has private bathroom with bathtub. The bathroom was well fitted with bathroom amenities. The room also has cable TV, safety deposit boxes, refrigerator, in room safe, iron and ironing board and closets. Coffee and tea making facilities was also available.

The room was classy and lavish. I liked our beds. It was soft and soothing. Overall, the room was tastefully appointed providing an elegant and excellent feel.

After taking a nap, I got a chance to ocular some other rooms of the hotel. The hotel’s Marketing Manager, Rosanna, accompanied me. The Landmark Macau currently has 439 luxurious guest rooms and suites spread into two wings, East and West wings. The rooms are grouped into different room types such as Superior Room, Family Grand Deluxe Room, Junior Suite Twin Room and Superior Suite. All hotel guest rooms and suites feature well-appointed amenities and spacious bathroom providing both bathing and showering facilities. Rooms are equipped with outstanding facilities including air-conditioning, Internet access, cable TV, mini-bar, hairdryer, personal safe and coffee and tea making facilities to name a few. But what I had truly appreciated among all the in-room amenities was the complimentary mini bar. It was something that you can’t get from any other hotel in the world. Who wouldn’t want free drinks from the mini bar, after all?

Facilities

Another great thing about the hotel was its superb facilities. The hotel offers outstanding facilities and kind services that guests would truly appreciate and enjoy. The hotel currently has 3 restaurants and 2 bars and loungers. It also has a casino. The hotel also has recreational facilities including an indoor pool, a snooker room, a fitness center and a spa.

 The hotel also offers a range of shops and well-equipped conference facilities and business center.

The Landmark Macau indeed impressed me naturally. From the time I stepped in, everything was great and impressive. From how the lobby looks like, which is very elegant and classy, and how our hotel room size was, which is huge, I know this hotel isn’t just your any other hotel in Macau. And I was right. Its well-equipped rooms, first-rate facilities and pleasant services truly provided us what a luxurious hotel comfort is.

Staying on this hotel provided me more than a convenient and a relaxing stay. My stay was short but the hotel didn’t fall short in offering me an outstanding hotel stay experience. It was truly an extravagant stay in Macau.
