Wandering along the Streets of Singapore

Some of my companions and I woke up early so we can drop by at China Town and Sim Lim Mall first before we go to the Universal Studios Singapore that day. We’ll just meet the rest of our friends  at Vivo City afterwards. From our hotel, we walked to Geylang Station and rode a train going to China Town. We arrived at China Town past 9:00 AM but the stalls were not yet open.

From China Town to Clarke Quay

Because it wasn’t open yet, we decided to go to Clarke Quay. We walked to get there and did some sight seeing as well. It was around 9:45 AM when we arrived at Clarke Quay and same goes with China Town, it wasn’t open yet. There’s a river cruise at Clarke Quay. Pretty romantic to cruise along the river with the special someone, huh…!

Clarke Quay is very alive during at night. It just happened were all dead-tired last night so we weren’t able to visit this place. Moving on, it was past 10:00 AM so we’ve decided to go to Sim Lim Square to buy some electronic devices. From Clarke Quay station we rode the transit going to Bugis station.

From Bugis station, we looked for Rochor Road where the Sim Lim Square is. Unfortunately, we got lost. We thought that the street were walking to is correct. And I found this street, Manila St.

Because we don’t have much time figuring out the map that we have, we asked a local how to get to the Sim Lim Square and he taught us the direction.

As soon as we arrived at the complex, we look for the Song Brothers Store. It is a store where my companion’s brother told her where to buy the things that he asked to. The complex is full of electronic devices. They have cameras, mobile phones, laptops and computers, and so forth… I left my companion at the Song Brothers and I roamed around to look for external hard drive. And I found one, I bought one for myself. I bought a Seagate 500 GB external hard drive for SG $90. Good buy, isn’t it.

After everything has been settled, we headed to Vivo City where the rest of our companions are already there waiting for us.

From Sim Lim Square, we walked for 10 minutes going to Bugis Station. We rode a train going to Harbour Front. When we got there, we went inside the Vivo City to check where our friends are. Then, we’re off to Universal Studios!

Namamahalan ako sa EHD! I got mine at 5k 1 TB na eh. Hahaha.

SG is the first place I wanna visit sa mga Asian countries! Medyo mahal nga lang. Hahaha.

Tsaka based on what I've seen so far, parang walang masyadong cultural sights? Puro modern na eh.

@Maricar, nako kahit di ka magdildil kaya mong makapag-SG! Hahaha!

@Ian, yup… sayang we missed it. Pagod na kasi kami

@Ivan, nagmamadali na nga ako nyan sa paglakad kaya patagilid ko sya nakuhaan! Hehehe! 🙂

  8. Clark Quay is a beauty to behold at night especially when all the lights are lit up. River cruise here would be a good idea and a different experience in visiting SIN.

  10. ay! ang mura nga. Teka, magkano ba ang kailangan kong bunuin para maka-survive ako sa SG? Ilang takal ng asin ang kailangan kong dildilin para lang makaipon? (OA? hahaha!)

I'm very very interested. Try ko next next year. hahah! Natuwa ako sa Manila Street. =) Kelan kaya magkakaron ng Maricar Street. Baklasin ko kaya yung pangalan ng street namin no. haha! Ang adik lang.
