Celebration and Staycation at Estancia Resort Hotel Tagaytay

It was one weekend before Christmas arrived when my friends and I spent another hotel staycation. Since it was holiday season, we thought of throwing a small party for our group. It was December and we thought it would be great to celebrate our small gathering somewhere cooler. Hence, Tagaytay popped up into our minds.

Estancia Resort Hotel was our venue for our small holiday celebration. Located in the heart of Tagaytay, this hotel is a pleasant spacious place that instantly stunned us because of its Greek-inspired architecture. It also has breathtaking view of the Taal Lake. With these things about the hotel, I think there was no more argument needed why to choose this place while in Tagaytay. It has the perfect site and beautiful overlooking.

It was already nighttime when our group arrived at the hotel. Its location was easy to find because it was just along the highway. It is close to The Picnic Grove Park. It is also just less than a kilometer away from the Tagaytay rotunda. Because we were having a hotel staycation to celebrate, we brought some food and booze. We also had Cebu’s Original Lechon Belly, which is actually always present when we have gatherings like this.

The group stayed in our common room, which is Julius’s room as always, to have our small party. The night was filled with laughter, dramas and stories. We also had plenty of hard drinks for the night but we weren’t able to finish all of those because most got knocked out early, well including me.

Room

After deciding to call it a night, we went to our respective rooms. I instantly retired to my bed and had my much needed sleep. Our room was a Santorini Villa. You may check room rates and availability here. The room was air-conditioned. It has private bath and toilet. It has two single beds. In-room amenities also include cable TV and mini bar. Too bad, there was no Wi-Fi connection in our room. Guests can only connect to Internet at the lobby.

It was when morning came when I had able to appreciate more of our room. Our room has a veranda that greeted me with a perfect morning view of the peaceful Taal Lake. Waking up with this beautiful view, I won’t ask for more.

Facilities

Estancia Resort Hotel also provides facilities and services to make guests feel more delighted in their staycation. The hotel has a restaurant, gaming room, karaoke room, 24-hour front desk and day-and-night security. It also has an outdoor and indoor pool, which sadly we didn’t able to try. We planned to take a dip but that didn’t happen because we were already all solved with our comfortable beds. In fact, we stayed till sunset in the resort and remained in one common room just lazing around.

Guests of the resort are also provided with complimentary set breakfast. The breakfast menu consists mostly of Filipino breakfast favorites. Well, I had fried fish and juice to recover from my slight hangover.

Our weekend gathering in Tagaytay had truly become more fun and memorable because of Estancia Resort Hotel’s hospitality and great accommodation. It was certainly the perfect venue for our group to celebrate the holiday. Our hotel staycation was another weekend filled with bliss, stories and booze. And I can’t wait for the next one!
